Microsoft’s Self-Service Password Reset (SSPR) lets you reset your password without needing to call IT for help. If you forget your password or get locked out of your account, you can use this feature to get back in by confirming your identity through options like a text message or security questions.

To use this service you first need to register your mobile phone and answer five security questions. More information about the initial registration process and how to use the password reset tools are found in the SSPR user guide (see link at the bottom of this page).

Use this option if you’ve forgotten your password or the account password has expired.
