Cahill Achieves PAR Bronze Certification

We recognize the mutually beneficial impact of business development with Indigenous-owned businesses, the value that Indigenous people bring to the workplace, and the potential of Indigenous communities. In 2018, Cahill committed to working toward certification in the CCAB Progressive Aboriginal Relations (PAR) program. We’re proud to say we’ve achieved the PAR Bronze Level. As we continue this certification process, we are committed to working closely with our community partners to do our part in the economic and cultural reconciliation with Indigenous peoples across Canada.

Introducing Makwa-Cahill

In 2021, Cahill partnered with Makwa to form Makwa-Cahill, the first nuclear-qualified Indigenous fabrication facility in the Owen Sound, Ontario area. This 26,000-square-foot fabrication facility, supported by the extensive technical capabilities of the Cahill Group, possesses all required nuclear and non-nuclear quality registrations to support pressure and non-pressure boundary fabrication scopes. The opening of the Makwa-Cahill facility represents the start of significant employment, training, and skill development opportunities for local Indigenous peoples. Cahill is proud of our commitment to developing mutually beneficial partnerships with Indigenous communities
